In the map module, you can check the exact location of your vehicles at any time and see their most recent speed and direction of travel.
Tracks of vehicles on the map
With only one click, you can display the track currently being travelled by a vehicle, or you can display any track taken by your vehicles in the past by selecting the dates which interest you. For clarity, the beginning and end of the track and all stops in between are marked in different colours.
Playback of tracks
The integrated graph and player, which replays the track on the map, allows you to visually see the vehicle’s speed, ignition mode and fuel level. If your vehicle has accessories, such as light bars or spotlights, their status will also be reflected in the playback.
The address search function makes available the most detailed location information both in your country and abroad, and provides address locations with just a mouse click.
Planning routes and measuring distances
You may often need to plan the next day’s routes or know the distance to a target destination. A special function has been created, which allows you to easily measure distances between several stops on the route.
Ecofleet offers a wide selection of online map services – constantly and quickly updated OpenStreetMaps and global Google Maps.

Detailed and proper trip descriptions
Ecofleet monitors the location of the vehicle and the operation of its engine during the trip and will generate comprehensive statistics on the trip just a few minutes after it is completed. This includes the departure and arrival addresses, the distance travelled, the time spent travelling and stationary, and the maximum and average speeds. The information makes it simple to add an entry in the driving log identifying the trip as a business or private trip, along with the name of the driver and any comments.
The driving journal completes itself
It can be time-consuming and annoying to complete driving journal entries on paper, especially when it is a long time since the actual trip. Ecofleet accepts odometer reading entries at any time and all other figures will be calculated in a second. After a little configuration, the driving journal becomes entirely automatic and self-sufficient, making its calculations either on the basis of time spent working or resting, or the departure and arrival points of the routes travelled.
Ecofleet will also notify you of any scheduled servicing due – just enter the odometer reading or the number of service hours once and Ecofleet will send an e-mail reminder when the service is due.

Overview of actual expenses
Information on the kilometres travelled, fuel used and time spent travelling or stationary for the entire fleet is only a few mouse clicks away. Ecofleet reports are easily comparable and it is very easy to spot any irregularities in the use of vehicles and take the appropriate measures. All reports can be viewed in the Ecofleet application or can be exported to PDF or Excel format.
- Smart use of location information is another significant strength of Ecofleet. Several location-based reports can provide overviews of the places visited by the fleet, distances travelled and time spent at various locations, whether customer facilities or the drivers’ homes or other locations. It is very easy to spot patterns, inconsistencies or irregularities, which the usual travel or expense reports do not reveal.

- One of the most popular features of the reports module is the regular e-mail updates. It is no longer necessary to log into the Ecofleet application every day, as you can open the reports for selected periods from your e-mail inbox every morning.
Integration with other information systems
It is possible to link the Ecofleet reports module directly to other information systems. If your company has employees with sufficient IT know-how, then with a little development work and using standard methods, you can automatically transfer the entire information provided by the reports module to your own information system.

Check your truck fleet tachograph data whenever you neet it, even if the trucks and drivers are thousands of kilometres away. You can see driver's activities and info in real-time, including these fields: time left until next rest, drive time left today, next daily rest, drive time left this week, next weekly rest and time of last status change. You can also see data in synoptic visual overview. Tacho module also displays all the violations (too short rest time for example) as they happen.

See every employee's equipment inventory
Every time an employee is handed some equipment, it is easily registered in the system by scanning a barcode or with a quick entry into the system. The equipment is assigned to the employee until it is handed in again.
It is possible to get an overview of each employee's equipment inventory from the system. It is also possible for the system to automatically send out reminders to the employees, who have forgotten to hand in equipment on time or an automatic report can be sent to you or the administrator with this information.
Keep track of service agreements
If you have service agreements for your equipment it is possible to let the system help you keep them. The system can give you the necessary overview of all the service agreements for the equipment, and you can receive reminders and monthly inventory lists automatically.

1. Easy overview at a low cost
The solution, that gives you overview of all equipment regardless of value. When the equipment is handed out to the employees, it is easy to register what equipment is handed out by scanning a barcode and choosing a location where it is to be used. The system then gives you an overview of where all your equipment is located, who it is handed out to, and it ensures you, that each work place only has the necessary equipment.
2. Automatic registration of placements
If you want an automatic solution without manual registrations, for instance to ensure that a correct location is registered, you can chose to install Ecofleet's small RFID tag. These send out a radio signal, which can be tracked within 200 meters of your vehicles equipped with an Ecofleet GPS device. This is very relevant for trailers where the vehicle has a GPS installed, as it will then register where the vehicle drops off the trailer. It also ensures a high accuracy of equipment placements, as the equipment is most often transported in company cars. If the vehicle is out of range, the system will show the latest registered location. This means, that all equipment located at one of your work places, in one of your company cars or at an employee's residence will be traceable.
3. Theft protection
Do you wish to track or protect your equipment, trailers or machines against theft, you should consider a GPS solution. Ecofleet can deliver GPS devices for fixed and hidden installment in a vehicle/machine or as a wireless device with an internal battery.

Task Management in the office
All employees can be followed on a map and tasks can be recorded and assigned. The employee will be notified accordingly. The office has an updated status of all tasks and employees.
The office can also create forms to be completed by the employee for quality control or the like - or calculate the most optimal routes for the day’s tasks to reduce driving and save time for the employee.
Task Management on the road
Employees have an overview of their own tasks and colleagues’ locations on their smart phones. It is possible to find the optimal route to a task and calculate time and distance to arrival.
It is also possible to fill out the forms created by the office, attach photos and/or signature to the task before it is completed.

How to optimize your business
There is A LOT of data nowadays in the world, but the key to using the data in your business isn't its vast quantity, but smart analysis and compact presentation. That is why Ecofleet now has KPI module. KPI or key performance indicator is a business metric used to evaluate factors that are crucial to the success of an organization.
How does it work?
First you have to figure out what are the metrics that are important to you regarding your fleet (you can have as many KPIs as you like). KPIs for your fleet may be for example:
- Trucks have to drive at least 10 000 kilometers a month
- Average fuel consumption should be less than 7 liters per 100 kilometers
- Shared company car should drive no more than 1000 kilometers a week
- Less than 15 hard accelerations per 100 kilometers
- Cars idling duration should be less than 1 hour a week
By getting these statistics you can easily see where changes / optimizations should be made in order to save fuel and optimize operations in the company.
